emPawa Africa, owned by Nigerian musician Mr. Eazi, has been told to pay over four hundred thousand dollars in attorney fees by Bad Bunny.

Dera and emPawa Africa(Mr… Eazi’s label) launched a lawsuit against Bab Bunny and his team over the release of Ensename a Bailar. This song appeared in Bad Bunny’s album Un Verano Sin Ti

They claimed that this song samples Joeboy’s 2021 song Empty My Pocket. When this track was initially released, there was a series of disputes between the distributor, Lakizo Entertainment, and emPawa Africa. This dispute led to the removal of the track from streaming platforms. But Bad Bunny’s legal team claimed that he had gotten proper permission from Lakizo Entertainment to sample the track.
