BTS, which stands for Bangtan Songeodan or Bangtan Boys, the biggest K-pop group in the world and the biggest boy band in the world, have finally completed their comeback with the release of their new album “Arirang” on the 20th of March. 

Before this, they released their last album “Be” in 2020. Then, they went on a short hiatus for every one of them to undertake South Korea’s mandatory military service and work on their solo projects. They officially got back by the end of last year. They prepared this album for their passionate fans, who are known as ARMY.

This album has been making a lot of waves since its release. It debuted at No 3 on Apple Music US, and it reached no 1 in 80 countries on iTunes. It’s also on track to surpass the highest first-day sales in Hanteo history with over 3.5 million sales and counting.

BTS is also scheduled to hold a concert tomorrow, the 21st of March, at Gwanghwamun Square, with over 260,000 people attending the show, generating millions for the capital city of Seoul.
